Access Log Manager
Find out about the Access Log Manager as well as the data you will have inside.
An access log is a text file which contains a full list of all of the files accessed by your Internet site visitors. All the files that were requested in one way or another shall be included, so when you have a PHP script application and a website visitor opens just the home page, for instance, you may find numerous files inside the log. It is because there are things on the home page that are embedded - parts of other webpages, images, and so forth. All these files will be listed within the access log, allowing you to get a detailed picture of the way your Internet site functions. The data is in plain text format, so the logs are often termed "raw data" as well. An access log shows the name of each requested file, the path to it, the date it was accessed, along with the user’s IP address, world-wide web browser and Operating System. More information, like the referrer site, is typically included as well. A log file may be processed by various desktop applications for statistical purposes as an addition to the web statistics generated by your hosting server.

Access Log Manager in Cloud Hosting
Our custom-built Hepsia Control Panel features a section focused on various logs and the access logs are one of them. As you sign in to your
cloud hosting account and go to this section, you shall find a list of all the
domains and subdomains that you have. All it takes to allow the generation of access logs is to press a button that will be available next to every single domain/subdomain. If the option is active, you will see a download link as well as the file size so far, so you will be able to save the file to your computer and look at it or process it with some app. Enabling or disabling the logs becomes effective right away, so if you don't need one, you could stop it with simply a click from the same section of the CP. You shall still be able to access the already created content by clicking on the Download link.

Access Log Manager in Semi-dedicated Servers
Our advanced hosting platform will create access logs for any Internet site hosted inside a
semi-dedicated server account, as long as this feature is activated. All domains and subdomains that you have shall be listed within the Access/Error Logs section of the Hepsia Control Panel, that we offer with all the accounts, so if you want our system to start creating logs for any of them, you should just click on the small button on the right side of the respective domain/subdomain and change the default Off option to On. You could deactivate this function anytime by following exactly the same steps. You'll find a Download link for each and every log within the same exact section of the Control Panel, so you can save the content generated by our system in .txt format with no more than a click. An existing log file may be downloaded even after the function has been disabled, so you will still be able to check out the data which has already been generated.
